Love your Neighbor AS Yourself

Image
Valentines Day is Sunday and everyone is going crazy! My timeline is filling up with single people who are feeling lonely as well as married couples who are not so lonely. The Holiday is actually called St. Valentines day. According to my research on one account a king wanted to make war and was sending young men off to war unwillingly, and the only thing that would prevent them was if they were married. This King also tried to ban marriage for young adults as a means to send the young men to fight in the war against their will but St. Valentine would marry these young couples in secret so they could live their lives normally and not have to go to war if they were truly in love. The thing that bugs me the most is that everyone is in a frenzy about having to be alone, or being together and no one is content with a love that is Holy. God created love for us to give, but also to receive. He also wants us to love ourselves too. It's his will, and I encourage others all the time to love...

Sitting in The Judgement Seat

Image
There were several times in my life where things became hard for me, and asking for help was worse than just going ahead and suffering. Most of the time before I could truly tell anyone the situation they had tons of judgment for me. Most people have this curious notion that because I went through so much hardship there's no way I could have an education. They completely dismiss the idea of having a disability, or that you may actually have an actual problem you need help with. When you bring it up they say you're using it as an excuse. They'd rather you put your life at risk because at least it's not their life, right? And they spend their time making comparisons between themselves and the other person not realizing they're actually not helping.  I remember one time while my kids were in school 3 months after giving birth, I was to find a job because it was required to keep my kids childcare. Unfortunately I couldn't because the hours I needed to wo...

Vision Planning/Boarding and Strategic Warfare

Strategy Is Learned and Not Just for the Gifted... Most people think strategy is hard, and I'll say some think it's a skill for those who are more gifted than them. I will agree to an extent that some people are better at finding a rhythm than others. They may have more discipline or really understand how to apply themselves, but I'm here to say that if you have a passion that you can learn to strategize!  Your strategy for anything is simply expounding on your goals. It's your "How to your problem. It's not complicated to think about how you will get from one place to another, and if you have had to pull up directions for your parents in the past off of mapquest, then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Personally I've had to creatively think all my life because of an epilepsy diagnosis. I couldn't reach my milestones how my peers could typically do it. So while most people look up to me as a Strategist, I'm actuall...

The Proof They Need to See

Image
You ever met someone who was dead set on proving people wrong? Let me tell you something about those people... those types of people are always bitter trying to tell people how they don't need them,  how they can do things on their own without help. How they're going to be somebody and prove to everybody who had something to say that they are somebody. The sad thing is they'll be in a life or death situation and never ask a soul for help because of the trauma they experienced over the years.  For some reason a counterfeit voice and not the voice of God is more listened to than one of reason. The Bible says "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and a fool despises instruction." Isn't it funny how the enemy-OUR enemy the devil is into clouding our judgment so badly that the things that are toxic to our souls is acceptable but not something good like good advice, or productivity? People who genuinely mean well are shunned, rejected, abused...

4 Keys to Persevereance

This term and year has been by far the most complicated, enjoyable, frustrating, and fulfilling that I've ever had. I must admit that 2019 was not that great considering that me and my family were homeless from January 2019 to February 2020. Various things happened and there were multiple times I wanted to give up, but I stayed focused by God's grace and mercy.  I'm so happy to report that I've completed my final term at American Intercontinental University and I'm going to be participating in the ceremony next year because it was postponed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.  If you don't know the story I'd like to briefly sum it up from where I started. I received a call from Mr. Quentin Young in 2018 several days before being evicted from my apartment alongside my husband and children. He called me on my house phone and I don't usually answer because of the spam calls but for some reason today was different. I let him know about t...
