Let me first express that this blog has been in my spirit for the past few weeks but as you know I've had to meditate on it, let it marinate a little with myself first, and then tell it to the public. I whole heartedly believe that when you hear a word from the Lord, the testing of your character comes thereafter. I'm usually waiting for the opportunity to write to all of you from a place of experience so that my words won't be just mere words, but exhortations to you because I've come from a place of testing myself. Christ resisted the devil in the wilderness so that he could testify that it was possible to do in human form. You know why, because sometimes we need to hit a point of desperation to speak with honesty about our situation. Honest to God, my family has been struggling, we've seen more points of strangulation in the spirit realm than any other family I could possibly know. We went 7 months homeless, had a new baby during that time, and are still trying to catch up on our debts. I know that there is a level of hardship you should "expect", but what happens when it's more like strategic attack. Ask the intercessors at your local praying fire baptized church. They'll tell you there's a such thing as being attacked, and that's why it's called SPIRITUAL WARFARE. Victor Borders Jr. I wanted to start off this post with a quote from my husband because I wanted to talk about what real success is, and what real prosperity is. A while ago, I did a devotion called "How is your Soul?" by Judah Smith and it was based off his book that shares the same name. In his devotion he focuses on the scripture in 3 John 1:2 which says "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper, and be in health even as thy soul prospereth" What does this mean though? Well I like to delve in the Word deeper and the word prosper in this scripture comes from the greek word eudoo (yoo-od-o), and it means "to help on the road,succeed in reaching, to succeed in business affairs, to have a prosperous journey."
